World Environment Day celebrate at every year – 5th June

A seminar will be held in the city on Friday (today) in connection with the World Environment Day.

The Environment Protection Department secretary will brief the audience on the Environment Protection Act of 2012. The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) officials will speak on Green Economy, this year’s theme.

World No Tobacco Day 2012 - March 31, 2012

The world would be a better place if nobody used tobacco.
MESSAGE FROM World Health Organization (WHO):

"Tobacco industry interference is the theme of this year’s World No Tobacco Day, which takes place on 31 May 2012. The campaign will focus on the need to expose and counter the tobacco industry's brazen and increasingly aggressive attempts to undermine global tobacco control efforts."
