The good:

The unprecedented high-resolution screen on the new MacBook Pro with Retina Display

makes images -- even simple text -- look beautifully clear. Despite a redesigned,

lightweight body, the powerful components, including an Nvidia GPU, compare well to recent high-end desktop replacements.

Overdue new ports,

including USB 3.0 and HDMI, are welcome.

The bad: With a $2,199 entry-level price tag, the MacBook Pro with Retina Display costs more than the typical American mortgage.

The lack of onboard Ethernet jack, FireWire, or an optical drive can be inconvenient at times.

Despite being thinner and lighter, it's not as travel-friendly as a true ultrabook or MacBook Air.

The bottom line: The newly redesigned MacBook Pro with Retina Display combines an amazing screen with just enough of the MacBook Air design to feel like a new animal, and to take its place as the best of the current MacBook breed.

sony smart watch : news for sony's fan With advance feature

I've spent time on this blog advocating for the idea of the smart watch as something more

than a fad—something that could make a small but significant disruption in the world of connected devices.



Though I had previously thought the smart money, so to speak, was on the well-reviewed but oft-delayed Meta Watch,



it looks as though the watch to watch might be a Sony offering hidden away amidst the many wonders of CES last week. (CNET called my attention to it.)

It is called, simply, Sony SmartWatch (slightly unfortunate tagline: "Touch your world"), runs $149, and is supposed

to come out in March. Here, I'll let it speak for itself for a moment.

Maruti Suzuki , Ertiga lonch in market

"This car is meant for a compact-car customer wishing to upgrade to a bigger car," Managing Director Shinzo Nakanishi said at a press conference. "This [utility vehicles] is a promising segment and we have been largely missing from this segment."

Maruti, along with its component suppliers, spent 4.1 billion rupees to develop the Ertiga.

Customers have started preferring utility vehicles in India where family sizes tend to be large. Local sales of such vehicles rose 16.5% in the fiscal year ended March 31 to 367,012 autos. In comparison, total car sales grew just 2.2% to 2.02 million.

The company has priced the gasoline-powered variants of the model between 589,000 rupees ($11,460) and 730,000 rupees while it will sell the diesel engine ones for 730,000 rupees to 845,000 rupees.

We got in touch with the concerned people at Micromax and they replied back saying, “Regarding the ICS tablet, the product has not been launched in India or in our existing retailing countries. We want the iPhone 5 to have NFC iWallet Technology, a feature which we covered earlier in the year surrounding the iPhone 5. This feature is such a high possibility because Benjamin Vigier, the man behind NFC, was employed by Apple earlier in the year; what’s more, the Google Nexus S has NFC built in.
