Job Description and Application

 VERUS is a start-up full-service law firm with an equal split between corporate / transactional and litigation work. With 4 offices, 5 partners (all of whom have previously spent a number of years at leading law firms in India) and a steadily growing number of associates, VERUS aims to deliver the big-firm expertise with greater focus on quality and responsiveness and a fair pricing model that creates value for clients.

This is an exciting opportunity for freshers (0-1 years' PQE) who are enthusiastic about working in a start-up law firm.

The candidate will gain first-hand experience in all facets of the practice area including client meetings, conferences with counsel, drafting, research and appearance before judicial and quasi-judicial authorities.

Candidates' Required Qualifications

 Apart from a graduate degree in law and the practice area focus listed above, candidate must be articulate, good at drafting and, generally, be willing to go through the rigours of litigation / dispute resolution practice. Only enthusiastic candidates who are keen to join a start-up may apply. Candidates who have cleared the AIBE will be preferred.
